Untether your mind, reclaim your headspace, and move forward with clarity.
Transformative hypnotherapy delivered securely online, wherever you are in the world. Supporting you through life’s challenges, unwanted habits, and emotional hurdles—tailored entirely to your individual needs.
Often, we feel "stuck" not because we lack the will to change, but because our minds are tethered to old patterns, habits, or narratives that no longer serve us. My goal is to help free you from what is holding you back and reclaim the headspace you’ve lost to life's challenges. By combining the restorative power of hypnotherapy with psychotherapeutic counselling, I provide a non- judgemental, collaborative environment to help you untether and move forward.
Hi, I’m Alice. I am a hypnotherapist based on the Wirral, providing confidential online hypnotherapy therapy to clients locally, across the UK, Europe, and internationally.
I come from a background in high-pressure creative industries, so I understand the noise and pace of a demanding world. This experience naturally drew me toward restorative practices and, ultimately, to my training in hypnotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling.
Today, as a qualified hypnotherapist and accredited member of the National Hypnotherapy Society, I founded Untether. My practice was born from a deep curiosity about how the mind works, specifically how our past shapes us and continues to show up in our daily lives, and a genuine desire to provide practical coping strategies for others. I have always valued the transformative power of conversation, and the profound impact of simply having a safe space to be heard.
While I currently focus on hypnotherapy, I am also expanding my expertise through a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (qualifying in Spring 2028).
What this means for you: Your sessions are informed by a dual perspective: the targeted results of hypnosis combined with the thoughtful, long-term frameworks of psychotherapy and counselling. Even as I continue my advanced studies, my work remains rooted in the latest psychological frameworks and ethical standards.
I am a Level 3 Hypnotherapist (Ofqual regulated) and a fully accredited member of the National Hypnotherapy Society. Therefore, I adhere to their code of ethics and you can be assured of complete confidentiality. I am fully registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO number: ZC112899) and handle all personal data in strict accordance with UK data protection standards.

What happens when you initially get in touch
I offer a free, confidential, and friendly initial consultation via phone or video call. This usually takes around 15-30 minutes and is an opportunity for us to discuss what you can achieve through hypnotherapy, and to ensure that I am the right fit for you.
What to expect from your sessions
A session of hypnotherapy with me typically lasts 75 minutes. My standard sessions are a bit longer than the traditional therapeutic hour; this ensures our time is intentional and unhurried, providing the space needed for you to move forward. My fee begins at £75.
I currently work exclusively online, which means you don’t need to travel to a clinic to find your clarity.
Online hypnotherapy is an established and effective way to access support. It was the medium for 50% of my clinical training, ensuring my approach is specifically tailored for the digital space. All you need is a device, a quiet, confidential, and comfortable space, a reliable internet connection, and a pair of headphones for the best experience. Online therapy offers you the freedom to engage in deep work from an environment where you already feel safe and comfortable.
While I am currently working exclusively online, I am in the process of establishing a dedicated practice space for face-to-face sessions soon.
This really depends on what you are bringing to therapy, but we usually start with a four-session plan. (The exception to this is smoking cessation, which is usually a single, longer session). Our first session is all about getting to know you and how the issue is affecting you and trying some gentle relaxation so you can get a feel for how you respond to hypnotherapy. From then on, everything is tailored entirely to you. Each session builds naturally on the last, and some clients start noticing positive changes quickly — especially when listening to the audio recordings between our appointments and leaning into the process.
It is incredibly common to worry that your mind is too busy or too analytical for hypnotherapy to work. Hypnosis isn't a magical trance or a loss of control, in fact, you probably already experience it naturally every day — like when you get completely absorbed in a task, do some daydreaming, or do something on autopilot. It’s a natural human ability. We aren't trying to force your mind to switch off; we are just working together to help it slow down, bypass the daily noise, and access a calmer headspace.
You cannot be made to do or say anything against your will, and you can open your eyes or speak at any point if you want to. Biologically, your brainwaves naturally slowdown from the fast, alert rhythms of normal waking life into the relaxed, receptive frequency your brain drops into during the REM (dreaming) stage of sleep. Most people leave a session simply feeling rested and refreshed.
